Step 3: Choose Calculation Type
- Select one of these radio buttons:
- Exclusive of GST: Calculate GST to be added to your entered amount
- Inclusive of GST: Calculate how much GST is included in your entered amount
Step 4: Calculate GST

Understanding the Calculations
Exclusive Calculation Example:
- Amount entered: ₹1,000
- GST Rate: 18%
- Calculation:
- GST Amount = ₹1,000 × 18% = ₹180
- Total = ₹1,000 + ₹180 = ₹1,180
Inclusive Calculation Example:
- Amount entered: ₹1,180
- GST Rate: 18%
- Calculation:
- Original Amount = ₹1,180 ÷ (1 + 18%) = ₹1,000
- GST Amount = ₹1,180 - ₹1,000 = ₹180
